What to Expect on Sunday

At ForestView we want you to be comfortable. When you visit on a Sunday you will experience great music, a message relevant to your life, friendly people, and an enjoyable atmosphere.

The first thing you'll notice is our casual atmosphere with people of all ages and walks of life. We're more concerned about your real-life needs than we are about what you wear. So dress casual and you'll fit right in.

Music has the power to speak to our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebrations, as well as more intimate songs of worship. We recognize that everyone worships in his or her own unique way. For some that means singing & clapping, and for others that means quietly reflecting on the words. Some enjoy standing while others prefer to sit. You're welcome to do whatever makes you comfortable.

Our messages focus on real life issues. We want you to be able to say that what we talked about on the weekend gave you something that could help you on Monday: in your family, at your work, with your life. It's not about religion; it's about a relationship with God. It's not about pretending that we're perfect, it's about a God who is willing to give His grace to grow us.

...for your kid's

Children are very important at ForestView. We are committed to your kids having a great experience too. We offer age appropriate programs from nursery to grade 6. The staff and volunteers create a safe, fun place for children to learn practical lessons from the Bible and begin to develop a relationship with God.

Children in the Nursery (up to age 2) and Preschool (up to Kindergarten) are signed into and out of their classes by their parents and parents are given a security tag to present at the end of the service to pick up their children.

Children in Grades 1 to 6 head upstairs to their specially designed BLASt (Bible Learning Activity Stations) program where they learn Bible stories through interaction with crafts, games, acting & videos and enjoy their own time in musical worship.

...youth

After spending time in worship with the adults, Junior Youth (Grade 7 & 8) students are dismissed to participate in their own time of learning. The focus is on learning biblical principles that can be lived out all week long. Discussion topics are designed to help them build a solid foundation and strong relationship with God.

Each Sunday from 10:30-11:00am (between services) all youth (Grade 7-12) are invited to connexxions, a time to connect with other youth, with God, and with the world.
