The BLASt program is available during both Sunday services. It is a program for children in grades 1-6.

Stations
Children have a variety of interests, skills and learning preferences (or styles). This is why we have adopted an exciting new approach to Sunday School - the "Workshop Rotation Model " or 'WoRM'. One Bible story is presented over the course of a month in a variety of ways.
Here is how it works:
Spaces are transformed into interesting, interactive workshop stations.
Classes rotate to a different station each week and experience the Bible story in different ways. Repetition helps memory retention and provides opportunities for in-depth exploration. Children love the variety and are really enjoying it.
Adult "Guides" stay with each age group throughout the year, providing continuity and nurturing to their students. Workshop Teachers prepare for only one lesson per month (with small adjustments made for the various grades they'll teach)in an area that they enjoy.
Exploring God's Truths in Creative Ways:
Children learn best when all of their senses are used. Each station involves children in different learning activities such as art, cooking, drama, music, games, puppets, video, storytelling, computers(next year we hope), science, etc.

* All children must sign in upon arrival
** Children in grades 1&2 must be picked up by a parent or sibling
