Youth

FV Youth is committed to exposing youth to Jesus Christ and helping them choose to live out God's dream for their lives. As the youth ministry of ForestView: Church Without Walls, we offer programming for youth from grade 7-12, which includes Junior Youth called Reality (grades 7-8) and Senior Youth called Paradigm Shift (grades 9-12). We really believe that Jesus meant it when he said "I have come that they might have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10).
Reality (Junior Youth / Gr. 7-8)
Reality meets weekly on Thursday nights at the Oakville ForestView location in the Garage from 7:00-8:30 PM. Our time is primarily spent laughing! We spend some time looking at God's Word, playing a variety of games (often including such things as pillows, hammers and grapes (not at the same time), and enjoying great snacks. Reality is an awesome time to just hang out with each other and enjoy bountiful fun and hey, sometimes we learn stuff too! Reality seeks to create a safe and fun environment when junior high aged kids can be free to be themselves as well as a place where there is a mix of both fun and practical biblical learning.
Paradigm Shift (Senior Youth / Gr. 9-12)

Paradigm Shift is our senior high program at ForestView. We meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00-9:30 PM in the Garage of our Oakville location. A typical night at Paradigm will include hanging out with each other, enjoying one another's company as well as being entertained by the tomfoolery and hi-jinks of some sort of game. Our evenings are highlighted by opening up the Bible and exploring relevant topics and issues that pertain to high school life. There is always a time of response to what we've looked at whether it is thinking through practical applications, further exploration through discussion or encountering God through music and worship. Paradigm Shift is not only committed to strengthening the bond between each other, but also passionately seeking God and further understanding what it means to truly follow Him.
Other Events

FV Youth isn't always just about learning. Sometimes it's about just letting loose and having fun as well. Several times a month we come together and do a variety of activities from Mystery Road Trips and Talent Shows to Camping Trips and so much more. We also look for opportunities to serve God in our larger community helping out with things like Operation Christmas Child, Kids' Clubs and Random Acts of Service.
