Missions Update: Iris Ministries, Malawi

Here is a quick look at what has been going on at Iris Ministries in Malawi the last few months. Thank you for your continued support, please continue to lift them in prayer. JULY • July was the annual Iris Ministries conference where thousands of people come to worship and encounter God. People travel hundreds of miles to attend, many who have never heard the words of Jesus. • 32 International guests arrived and stayed

Missions Update: Hand to Hand Ministries, Thailand

Pre-school program is flourishing and many students have now graduated and are ready to move into Grade 1 at the surrounding local Thai schools. Already, many more young students have enrolled into these open spots and are being educated in a positive environment. The new merit system is becoming very popular! Last Time

Over the past week Nicole and I have had the first of our many “lasts.” We had our last house visits with Gladys and Carlotta, our last time watching Jonatan’s soccer time lose a game (sorry bud), last time helping at social project, last time teaching the pastors, last time going to church. and many more little lasts that have slowly made us sadder and sadder as we realize our time here is actually coming

Day One – Quito

We’re finally here! After a tiring day of travel we arrived at the extreme response headquarters. Shantelle and I have spent the day meeting other ER staff, seeing an old friend Mike Bishop (whom we had meet in Peru) and being debriefed on all things Quito.
