The Mission
The mission of Rolling Horse Community Cycle is to provide affordable bicycle sales and service while also training youth, adults and communities in the basics of bicycle maintenance and repair.
We accomplish this through:
- Operating a modular bike shop out of Next Door Social Space;
- Hosting repair clinics across Burlington and Oakville;
- Providing youth and adult bike mechanic training.
All bikes distributed through Rolling Horse are donated from the community and are refurbished by trained volunteer mechanics. Income earned through bike sales help us to cover costs of parts and allows us to make more bikes available to more people.
Our modular bike shop is open each Wednesday afternoon from 3 – 5 pm. Feel free to drop in with your bike repair or if you are looking for a bike. The shop is located at Next Door Social Space, 484 Plains Road East, Burlington. Find the Home Hardware plaza, look around the corner, and there you’ll find us.
Whether you are looking for a bike, need a repair, or want to join the team of mechanics please contact Paul Millar at paul.millar@forestviewchurch.ca
