What to Expect on Sunday
At ForestView we want you to be comfortable. When you visit on a Sunday you’ll experience great music, a message relevant to your life, friendly people, and an enjoyable atmosphere.
The first thing you’ll notice is our casual atmosphere with people of all ages and walks of life. We’re more concerned about your real life needs than about what you’re wearing. So dress casual and you’ll fit right in.
Music has the power to speak to our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebration and intimate songs of worship. We recognize that individuals worship in their own unique way. Some prefer singing and clapping, and others favour moments of quiet reflection. Some may enjoy standing while others prefer to sit. Whatever your preference, we encourage you to do what makes you feel comfortable.
Our messages focus on real life issues. We want you to be able to say that what we talked about on Sunday helped you throughout the week: at home, at work, and with your life.
Church, for us, is not about religion, it’s about a relationship with God. It’s not about pretending that we’re perfect, it’s about a God who is willing to give His grace to grow us.
