- Pre-school program is flourishing and many students have now graduated and are ready to move into Grade 1 at the surrounding local Thai schools. Already, many more young students have enrolled into these open spots and are being educated in a positive environment.
- The new merit system is becoming very popular! The students are rewarded with coupons for polite manners, trying hard etc. They can save up these coupons and purchase used toys, shoes and clothes which are donated to the school.
- Currently Hand to Hand has sponsorships for 62 students to go to school to receive an education (many are sponsored by members of Forestview). These children range from Kindergarten to University level. This is absolutely life changing for these kids and for their families!
- Goh Pai Village Church and Khag Talo Slum Church are both doing well and are continuing to grow. These people are conquering battles and are witnessing healing of their bodies, hearts and minds. Continue to pray for these people who are desperately seeking God’s word and to experience Him.
- Finishing up building homes for 3 families that were evicted from living in the slums. They will soon have permanent, safe houses to live in.
- The local village ministry and the prison ministry, which occur weekly, have recently had extra volunteers. These missionaries help pray for people, distribute food and attend to medical needs.
