We are renovating!
Our phase 3 renovation is underway and we couldn’t be more excited! In the coming months our children’s space will be completely redeveloped, our sanctuary refreshed, accessibility increased for the second floor and the exterior of our building including parking lot restored! As we strive to be a community where people meet Jesus and become more like Him we know that a functional and welcoming facility will play a big role!

Gathering as a church throughout the Renovation
This extensive work will affect how we are able to use the building throughout the duration of the renovation. The great news is that we will continue to meet at the ForestView Building on Sunday mornings at 10:00am for our weekly worship gatherings. We are also committed to continuing the care and development of our kids each week and will continue to have a pre-school & toddler room, a Sunday School Class (SK – gr. 5), and a Jr High Class (gr. 6-8). Parents will also be able to access a diaper change table as well as washrooms.

What to expect on a Sunday Morning.
When you arrive at church you’ll enter the building through the west facing sanctuary doors. Kids in the pre-school / toddler room (18mo – 4yrs) can go immediately to the Youth Room. All other kids and youth will be sent to their class spaces from the worship gathering. You can expect this dismissal within the first 20 minutes of the worship gathering. We expect a little extra noise during these months as our spaces are close together and our only “hallways” travel through these spaces.

Those in the Sunday School Class (SK – gr. 5), and the Jr High Class (gr. 6-8) will meet in the warehouse when they are sent from the worship gathering.

We will have access to the newer washrooms outside the youth room throughout the duration of the renovation and these will be accessed through the kitchen and the youth room. The diaper change station will be in the youth room immediately on your left as you enter from the kitchen. The image above denotes accessible areas during the renovation. There will be no access to the 2nd floor throughout the project.

We anticipate a great season of worshipping and growing together as we make some adjustments and navigate this exciting transition as a church family.
