Nancy McMahonDirector of Pastoral Care
Nancy has been part of the ForestView staff since 2003 and move to her current position as Director of Pastoral Care in early 2010. The primary focus of her role is engaging and facilitating care and connection for those within the ForestView community.  Nancy is married to Terry and is the proud mom of three children, Alanna (Morgan), Brad, and Grant. She and her family have been part of ForestView since 1995. Nancy is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (BBA) and also holds a Master in Theological Studies from McMaster Divinity College. In her free time she enjoys golfing, gardening, reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Paul MillarDirector of Community Outreach
Never thinking he’d be living in the suburbs working as a pastor Paul is now in his 11th year on staff at ForestView. Paul’s professional background is in the field of Social Work and Community Development and he is particularly interested in connecting the church with the forgotten people in our local community. Paul lives in Burlington with his wife Elizabeth and their five children, Alexandria, Gabriel, Hazel, Sophia and Simon. His current interests are native gardening, mountain biking, trail running, basketball and visiting indie coffee shops in the Hammer. If he is doing any of the above with his family all the better!

Wendy NassonDirector of Childrens' Ministry
Wendy Nasson was welcomed to the ForestView staff in September 2011, taking on the Director of Children’s Ministries role. After several years as a preschool teacher, then a stint in sales, she found her true passion in serving on staff within the church. For several years she served in a church in Mississauga where she developed small groups and drama, then the role expanded into overseeing various ministries. Later she moved into Children’s ministries, with the goal of teaching kids about a God who is real in their lives and deeply loves them and doing so in a fun and interactive manner.

Wendy lives in Burlington with her two children, Cooper and Keira. She loves doing almost anything with her family (games, movies, family bike rides), entertaining friends, decorating her home and dabbling in gardening (although she lacks a green thumb).

Cole McFarlaneDirector of Worship, Arts & Media
After graduating from Briercrest College with a B.A. in Christian Ministry, Cole joined the ForestView team in September 2008. Cole has since taken on the role of ForestView’s Director of Worship, Media & the Arts.

Cole met Janessa in 2011 through a Clearwater Players’ production of Bye Bye Birdie, and they got married in 2014. They live in Burlington, far too close to the local music store, with their son Francis.

Cole is passionate about the intersection between faith and art and is pumped to grow with ForestView in the areas of Music, Media, Art and Liturgy as the church explores different ways of expressing ourselves during times of communal worship. Cole has been playing video games for 28 years, and is a big fan of film, music and graphic design.

Jefferson FowlerDirector of Youth Ministry
While completing his undergraduate at Tyndale University College & Seminary, Jefferson found his passion for youth and young adult ministry. As he worked part-time as a waiter, Jefferson began and ran weekly a Bible Study with other young co-workers. In his final year of school, he served as a Youth Intern at a church in Etobicoke. Jefferson completed his undergrad with a B.A. in Biblical Studies & Theology and Youth Ministry in 2016, and joined the staff at ForestView in June 2017.

Jefferson is passionate about reaching the next generation and helping children, youth, and young adults make healthy transitions through all stages of life. In his free time Jefferson enjoys reading, watching movies, exploring the GTA, and playing video games with his wife, Lauren.
