Nat Evans, Lead Pastor

Nat Evans

Lead Pastor

Nat Evans started as Forestview’s lead pastor in January 2020.

Nat is married to Julie, and together they have two children—Beckett and Alaiya. Nat loves reading, writing, NBA basketball, and is ever in search of the perfect fish taco.

Nat’s heart is to help people discover the incredible life that happens as we surrender our lives to Jesus and find our true selves in the story of God. He longs to see the church wrestle with what it means to truly follow Jesus and be a community that embodies his self-giving love.

Marcée Lane, Pastor of Missions and Discipleship

Marcée Lane

Pastor,
Mission & Discipleship

Marcée grew up in Dundas, Ontario, surrounded by family who loved Jesus. She lived abroad as a missionary in Bolivia for five years. Upon returning from the mission field, Marcée completed her Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Within weeks of graduating from Laurier, Marcée began working at Indwell, a Christian charity that creates affordable, supported housing communities. She wrapped up her time at Indwell in September 2022 as she transitioned to Forestview.

While working at Indwell, Marcée met Jeremy Lane in the fall of 2019. In the fall of 2021, Jeremy and Marcée were married and now live in Burlington. They have been attending Forestview since June 2021, and from their first Sunday, they felt welcomed and knew that God had led them to this church family.

Kayla Dion, Children's Pastor

Kayla Dion

Children's Ministry

Kayla has been attending Forestview since 2011 and officially joined the Forestview staff team in 2019 as the Children’s Pastor. She has also loved being actively involved in the Forestview Missions Team since 2017.

Kayla met her husband, Nick, at Forestview in a young adults Covenant Community. They were married in 2016 and now live in Hamilton with their three beautiful children: Noah, Oliver, and Madeline. Kayla is in her happy place when gardening or creating beautiful watercolor paintings. She also loves dance and is an instructor and choreographer for students ages 5–18.

Kayla has always been passionate about seeing children transformed by the love of Jesus. Ever since high school, when her Christian journey began, she has served in Children’s Ministry, leading camps, events, and small groups. Her desire is to help lead and support kids and families as they grow in their love for Jesus.

Lisa Brown, Director of Connections, Communications & Facilities

Lisa Brown

Director,
Connections, Communications
& Facilities

Lisa was born in Sarnia, Ontario, and left at the age of 18 to attend Sheridan College in Oakville for Journalism. It was there that she met Kevin, her best friend and the love of her life. After being close friends for nearly a year, the two decided to date. Lisa and Kevin attended church and grew in their faith together before getting married in 1996. They still live in Oakville, and their daughter, Abigail (Abby), was born in 2005.

Lisa is passionate about cooking, baking, dating Kevin (going to movies, concerts, and plays), and sitting down with people to hear their stories, because she believes everyone has one that’s worth hearing. She is an early riser, loves everything about ’80s music and movies, and is a huge supporter of a good Sunday siesta. She has experienced great joy and sorrow in her life and loves to talk about how God was with her through it all.

Lisa values peace, lives a simple lifestyle, and believes to her core that God built us for relationship—and that He finds great joy when we serve together as the body of Christ.

He has been working in music ministry for over a decade, and has recently released his first album. A graduate of Humber College’s Jazz and Contemporary Music Degree, he uses his expertise to create music that connects people with God’s story.

Payton Frappier

Social Enterprise Manager,
Next Door Social Space

Payton was born and raised in Fergus, Ontario, and left to attend business school at Laurentian University in Sudbury.

Shortly after beginning to date Kiara, his now-wife, she suggested they attend church together. This was Payton’s first time ever attending a church service, but it changed the trajectory of his life; a short time later, he dedicated his life to the Lord through baptism. After graduating from business school, Payton spent a few years working in marketing within the private sector. Through a season of prayer and fasting, he realized God was calling him to leave his secular career path and focus on building His kingdom.

Payton and Kiara have two beautiful sons, Ryker and Wilder. They are a very active family and are often found doing some form of recreational sports on any given night of the week. Payton himself enjoys weightlifting, as well as martial arts, golf, and hockey.
