Doug Loveday
Doug LovedayTransitional Pastor
Doug is married to Ruth. They have 4 children , all married , with 21 grandchildren. Doug was a high school science teacher for 12 years before going to Seminary and starting pastoral ministry. He pastored at Community Bible Church, Lucan, Ontario for 25 years, and still lives in Lucan, near London.

He is a pastor to pastors with the Vision Ministries Canada network of churches, and is very thankful to God for the chance to join Forestview Church as Transitional Pastoral Leader .” I love the staff and leaders at FV and look forward to seeing our great God renew and refresh us all as we move forward. I have seen the LORD bring spiritual renewal and relational renewal in beautiful ways as a church goes through a time of transition .”

He loves encouraging people in their relational walk with God the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit. He loves camping, sports and seeing the beautiful creativity of God in the great outdoors.

Mike Jacks
Mike JacksInterim Operations Manager
After running his own business for 18 years, Mike was excited for the opportunity to get involved in the operations at ForestView. His primary role is to oversee the staff and volunteer leaders at FV.

Mike’s previous involvement at ForestView include the Missions Team, the Leadership Team, Small Groups and coordinating FV events like the Community Christmas Dinner, Thanksgiving Hikes and Football (ie. the Big Game) Viewing Parties.

Mike lives in Hamilton with his wife Stephanie and their five kids; Spencer, Eli, Grace, Hannah and Kaitlyn. His interests include any sports that involve a ball; watching his kids chase a ball, and spending time in the outdoors in all 4 seasons.

Mike and Stephanie have attended ForestView since 2003.

Tamara Chaffee
Tamara ChaffeeDirector of Admin, Communication & Welcome
Tamara has been a part of the Forestview family since 2015. She is married to David and together they have three children, Bennett, Morgan [Courtney], and Molly.

She spent the first 10 years of their married life in the banking world, and the remaining 20 years managing their homefront. Over the years Tamara has volunteered her time, passion and creativity towards various interests and ministries. She led the Children’s ministry at her previous church for 5 years, often participated in the music ministry, and helped lead an international youth compassion trip.

Recreationally, Tamara enjoys antiquing, cooking, writing, singing, fishing, cottaging and most of all, any time spent with her husband, children, extended family and friends.

Paul Millar
Paul MillarDirector of Community Outreach
Never thinking he’d be living in the suburbs working as a pastor Paul is now in his 11th year on staff at ForestView. Paul’s professional background is in the field of Social Work and Community Development and he is particularly interested in connecting the church with the forgotten people in our local community. Paul lives in Burlington with his wife Elizabeth and their five children, Alexandria, Gabriel, Hazel, Sophia and Simon. His current interests are native gardening, mountain biking, trail running, basketball and visiting indie coffee shops in the Hammer. If he is doing any of the above with his family all the better!

Cole McFarlane
Cole McFarlaneDirector of Worship, Arts & Media
After graduating from Briercrest College with a B.A. in Christian Ministry, Cole joined the ForestView team in September 2008. Cole has since taken on the role of ForestView’s Director of Worship, Media & the Arts.

Cole met Janessa in 2011 through a Clearwater Players’ production of Bye Bye Birdie, and they got married in 2014. They live in Burlington, far too close to the local music store, with their son Francis.

Cole is passionate about the intersection between faith and art and is pumped to grow with ForestView in the areas of Music, Media, Art and Liturgy as the church explores different ways of expressing ourselves during times of communal worship. Cole has been playing video games for 28 years, and is a big fan of film, music and graphic design.

Kayla Dion
Kayla DionDirector of Children's Ministry
Kayla has been attending ForestView for 7 years and has loved being actively involved in the community through children’s ministry, and global missions. She met her husband at ForestView and has been happily married to Nick for 2 years and were joined by their son Noah in early 2018.

Kayla has always been passionate about working with children. For the past 4 years she has lead a small group class in KidsView and has also taken on the summer role for the past two years as Assistant Director of Children’s Ministry. She shares her passion for kids as a dance instructor and choreographer for students from ages 5-18. Kayla steps into this role with excitement and enthusiasm to see where God will move in the lives of the children at ForestView.

Ryan Allison
Ryan AllisonDirector of Youth Ministry
Ryan Allison has been attending Forestview for the past 20 years. For 13 of those years, he’s been a part of FV Youth in a variety of capacities and his is excited to step into this position.

Ryan worked at Ontario Pioneer Camp for 5 summers in both counselling and programming rolls, spent 7 years volunteering in Kidsview, and has been a leader in FV Youth for 8 years. Ryan’s interests include the Toronto Maple Leafs, movies, video games, and spending time with his Fiancée, Kaela.

Nicole Roblin
Nicole RoblinAsst. Director of Youth Ministry
Nicole has been attending Forestview since 2006. She started out attending FV Youth and then started volunteering in Kidsview. After going to Peru over March Break with the FV Youth team in 2011 and 2012, she lived in Ecuador for three months in 2014 where she taught English and visited with mothers and children in low income neighbours in Quito. More recently Nicole has spent three years as a small group leader for FV Youth.

Nicole graduated from Western University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Social Work and has spent the last two years working at the Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton on the Young Parent Team. Nicole is currently completing her Master’s of Social Work through the University of Waterloo.

Nicole is an avid traveler (having been to 5 continents and over 25 different countries) and loves exploring new places. In her free time Nicole enjoys baking, hiking and reading.
